Ripples

On April 20th, my grandmother died at age 95!  She lived a full life, and we are blessed because of it.  We will miss her.  The picture below was taken at Last Mountain Lake in Saskatchewan at my Grandparents Beach.

The effect of one single person is as immeasurable as the ripple 

of a skipped rock across the water's surface.

Happiness

Happiness is the smell (and taste) of one hundred and three home baked cookies!

The Journey

The terrain does not have to dictate the journey.

Spark

The spark that makes the fire is the same one that flickers and dies.

Surrender

Surrender is not about giving up; 

it is about acknowledging that 

we do not have control, there is a higher power.  

Burdens and Blessings

One can't recognize the Blessing without also acknowledging the Burden.  

Walk with strength and grace.

Nature's Gift

Barefoot or boots, beach, mountain or valley - 

Nature is constant, we only have to choose to step into it.

Open up

Take a chance and open up; you will shine more brightly in the world because of it.

Look beyond what your eyes can see....

Risk

Risk being close enough to feel the warmth in their breath.
